User preferences allow you to set the appearance and behavior of your Quicksolver windows to enhance your user experience. Categories that may be tailored to your preference include skin selection, zoom, automatic opening of .pdf documents, and selection of a mapping provider.
To set individual user preferences:

the upper tool bar, click the gear icon to
display or user preferences.
Make your preferred selections.
Close.
Skin selections set the color theme of the Quicksolver window. There are 3 color schemes to select from.
Zoom sets the magnification. Increasing magnification makes text and user interface elements larger, but less information fits onto each window.
‘Automatically open documents’ opens .pdf files when they are assembled. When the Automatically open documents check box is selected, assembling and viewing worksheets or forms are combined into a single process. The Mapping provider option selects which internet application provides the street map or satellite image when the MapIt link is utilized..
Only select or deselect ‘Show windows with rounded corners’ and ‘Enable animations’ when advised to do so by Instec. This is reserved to enhance windows XP compatibility only.
