A recoverability feature is included in Quicksolver that allows you to recover transactions during system interruptions. Should the Policy Service be re-started, a notification appears and open transactions are saved as a ‘recoverable’ documents which are placed in the Recent Policies pane on the Main screen. This features alleviates the need to re-enter policy data due to a system outage.
Transactions will also be recovered when the client program crashes or the client machine loses connectivity. In these cases, after a brief wait, the service will detect that the client is no longer communicating and will automatically place an open quote or policy into the ‘recoverable’ state.

To access the transaction you were working on when a system outage occurred:
After the system resumes, go to the Recent Policies pane on the Main screen.
Using
the action menu
select the desired option.
