Export and Import Policies

To move a policy from one Quicksolver area to another, the Export and Import features can be used. These functions are available from the Main screen. 

To export a policy:

1.       Access the policy to export on the Main Window using search.

2.       Pause on the action menu next to policy. Click Export.

3.       Click on the folder where the exported policy should be saved. Click OK.

4.       When the Export is complete, a message stating “Policy Export Complete”

appears.  Click OK. 

To import a policy: 

1.       On the main window of the applicable Quicksolver area, click the Import command button on the lower tool bar.  

2.       Browse to the folder containing the policy to be imported. Select the applicable

folder. A list of policies contained in the folder will appear.  Note:  To import

multiple policies, hold the Control key and select multiple policies.  

3.       Pause on the action menu next to the policy to be imported.  Select to Import

and replace the existing or Import and save as new. 

4.       When the Import is complete, a message stating “Policy Import Complete” appears. Click

OK.

5.      Click Close.
